Employee Benefits

  • Pineywoods Community Academy is committed to continuous professional growth for our educators. Professional development opportunities are aligned to student needs as identified through each campus improvement plan.

Staff development includes instructional best practices, classroom management, seasonal seminars, and ongoing training that reflects current teaching and learning strategies.

Beginning teachers and those new to the district are supported through a structured orientation and a mentorship program led by experienced, trained educators who provide guidance throughout the year. This comprehensive approach ensures all teachers are well-prepared, supported, and positioned for long-term success.

  • All employees are paid on a semi-monthly basis, with pay dates on the 10th and 24th of each month. If a scheduled pay date falls on a weekend or district-recognized holiday, payment will be issued on the preceding business day, as reflected on the district payroll calendar.

Unused local leave may carry forward from year to year in accordance with district policy.
